FAQ

How do I measure for custom size aluminum hunting blind windows?

To get the perfect fit, measure the exact “rough opening” (the cutout hole) of your blind. Do not guess or round up. We build your custom size aluminum hunting blind windows to fit into that specific opening with a small clearance margin.

Can I order non-standard shapes or odd dimensions?

Yes. We specialize in custom manufacturing. If you need a specific height or width not listed on our standard product pages, email us at info@thedeerblindwindow.com or call us directly (817) 774-1121. We can build almost any configuration to fit your setup.

Do you sell replacement deer blind glass sliders if mine break?

Yes. If your blind takes damage from a storm or an accident, you do not need to buy a whole new frame. We sell replacement pane for both our sliders and our framed swing sash window.

What is your typical turnaround time for standard orders?

We pride ourselves on speed. During the off-season, we often offer same-day fulfillment on standard orders. However, during peak hunting season (late summer through winter), high demand can extend our lead times. We recommend ordering early, as peak season turnaround times can take up to 3 weeks to manufacture and ship.

Where are your windows made?

Every single window we sell is proudly made in Texas. We manufacture our products locally using premium materials to ensure they hold up to years of rugged outdoor use.

How do you ship large or bulk orders?

Single windows ship via standard ground carriers. For large orders or commercial addresses, we utilize freight shipping on pallets to protect the glass. We offer discounted freight rates for bulk orders, or you can opt for free local pickup at our Cleburne store.

Do you offer tinted glass options for your windows?

Yes. We offer a premium colorized grey glass option. Unlike cheap alternatives, our tint is baked directly into the glass itself—there is no film applied. This means your window tint will never bubble, peel, or scratch off, ensuring perfectly clear vision and excellent concealment for years to come.

How do I maintain my sliders to ensure they stay quiet?

To keep your windows operating as silently as possible, we recommend occasionally spraying the latches on your Sliders windows. It is quick and easy—just use 3-in-1 window & Track dry lube or any high-quality window lubricant. A quick spray before the season starts keeps the mechanism smooth and completely silent in the field.

What hardware do I need to buy for installation?

We recommend purchasing your own installation hardware based on the specific material of your blind (wood, metal, or fiberglass). To complete the job, you will need:
  • High-quality exterior caulk or silicone to create a weatherproof seal.
  • Screws matched to your blind’s building material (e.g., wood screws or self-tapping metal screws).
Once you have those, our windows make installation a breeze—all you have to do is cut, caulk, and screw.
